I've been hiking for 10 years, and I'm a mountain guide on the Peaks of the Balkans trail, licensed by the Ministry of Tourism of Kosovo. I started Balkan Backpackers to share these mountains the way I know them: on foot, in small groups, with time for the shepherds, the long guesthouse tables and the views that never make it into guidebooks.
